
The Milan Public Library Board is is comprised of 6 members. Members of the Library’s Board of Trustees serve to oversee the policy, planning, fiscal and advocacy aspects of the Milan Public Library. The Board meets every other month and is a committed, collegial group. Board members are elected to six year terms.

The Milan Public Library is seeking a resident to fill a vacancy on the Library Board of Trustees until December 31, 2028.
This is an unpaid position.
Candidates must be a City of Milan resident and a registered voter.
Preference will be given to candidates who can serve as treasurer. Milan Public Library has a controller and bookkeeper; the Board Treasurer position is mainly an oversight of the library’s finances.

Applicants should plan to attend the Tuesday, June 23 board meeting.
