You may have up to 8 eBooks/eAudiobooks checked out at one time and an unlimited number of magazines. Items will automatically be returned at the end of their checkout period. You can return items early to free up space to check out another book.
Just as with physical books, eBooks and eAudiobooks may be checked out by one person at a time. If an eBook or eAudiobook is available, you can check it out, download it, and read/listen immediately. It is is already checked out, you can reserve it and be notified by email when it is available to you.
Through a collaborative arrangement with other Michigan library cooperatives, our cardholders can now borrow items from other collections in the State of Michigan. If you are already a Libby app user, follow the steps below.
Here's a brief (3 minutes) VIDEO that walks you through the process.

We all want to be informed citizens, right? And we want the younger members of our community to be savvy about how to use (and not be used by!) the media, too.
The materials on the Wonder Media site (developed by libraries and library agencies in Michigan) explore media literacy and news media literacy.
While aimed at middle school users, many of the online games, videos and program ideas are suitable for ages 10 and older. Great for learning at home or in educational settings.
