Children's Events & Information

Free Trees

Register by March 15.

We are partnering with Neighborhood Forest to give children and teens in our community a free tree to plant at home for Earth Day.

Sign up here by March 15.

We do not know what type of tree we will receive. Neighborhood Forest chooses a tree native to our area and lets us know their choice in early April.

We will receive the trees before Earth Day (April 22). We’ll contact you when your tree is ready for pick-up.

They are small seedlings, which will need protection from hungry animals, lawn mowers, etc.

Read to Patches

Thursdays, February 19, March 19, & April 16

Choose a time between 6:30 & 7:30.

Patches is a therapy dog that will be here with her owner Anne.  Patches is a great listener, making her an ideal audience for beginning readers to read in a relaxed environment.  Children of all ages are welcome to read to, share books with, and pet Patches.

Registration is required here.

Please register here.
